the software still has to be easy
- the bar: family figures it out in ten seconds, without texting me
decisions get smaller
- hardcode what a commercial product would make configurable
- skip explanations meant for strangers
- the circle stays loose: sometimes a friend brings a friend to dinner
no business model, and not looking for one
- nothing needs the users' data, so the data stays theirs
